Set in the heart of the Sussex countryside we will be serving seasonal dishes in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Our bar boasts a great selection of real ales alongside a carefully selected wine list and soft drink selection and is a great place to enjoy a light bite in front of an open fire.
Alternatively dine in the restaurant and enjoy the a la carte menu showcasing dishes carefully selected by Head Chef Adam.
The Bat & Ball will also offer the ideal location for weddings, private parties, special occasions and other celebratory affairs. The surrounding grounds and gardens will all be available to hire and the pub itself has a number of private areas that are perfect for office lunches and dinners.
Caravan / Campervan
Our pitches are for Campervans and Caravans only, we are an adult only campsite. In the grounds of our delightful 16th Century Country Pub and Restaurant, Oakfields offers campers a great location with facilities all on hand.
Close to the renowned Fishers Farm Park, Petworth Park and the stunning South Downs.We offer shower block facilities, wash up area and new for 2017 we will introduce free wifi facilities.
We will be open 7 days a week, Bar open for coffee and drinks 12-11 Monday – Saturday and 12- 8 Sundays, Light bites menu available 3-6
Lunch Monday-Saturday 12-3, Dinner Monday- Saturday 6-9, On Sundays we serve our delicious Sunday roast in addition to an array of seasonal dishes 12-6pm

Collecting From
We have hire depots situated in each of the locations listed below - choose the pick up point that's closest to you. All hires start and return to the same pick up location unless agreed prior to making a booking (a one way fee applies)
Collecting on
You can collect on any day of the week - the usual collection time is after 3PM (The latest return time is 11AM). Collection and return outside of these times should be agreed prior to making your booking.
Small Motorhomes
The Chausson Flash 02 and 04 models are the ideal choice for couples or families with one child under 6. The small model features cab air conditioning, cruise control, full size washroom, shower, toilet, fridge & freezer. A fixed rear double bed gives easy access and the dining area converts to a single bed arrangement as required. Small on the outside - big on the inside!
Medium Motorhomes
The Chausson Flash 03 is our most popular model for families of four or more - featuring two rear single bunk beds and a king size double above the cab. Full size washroom with shower and toilet, features cab air conditioning, cruise control, full size washroom, shower, toilet, fridge & freezer. Easy to drive and great fun for all the family!
Large Motorhomes
Travelling with five or more? The Chausson Flash 25 is the ideal model - featuring two rear single bunk beds and a king size double above the cab. The dining area also converts to a small double bed or a single infant bed. Full size washroom with shower and toilet, features cab air conditioning, cruise control, full size washroom, shower, toilet, fridge. Despite it's size, it's very easy to drive and ideal for groups and families of five or more.
Bronze Package
Great value for those who need a motorhome for festival or short distance travel.
It includes: 100 free miles per insurable day (7 nights = 800 miles) 90p per mile thereafter, a gas bottle (for heating the water and powering the fridge) Toilet pack, bike racks and Digital TV package. Car parking for your own vehicle.
Silver Package
If you're touring over 100 miles per day, save a packet on your touring holiday with our Silver Package! it includes the price for unlimited mileage, a gas bottle surcharges(for heating the water and powering the fridge) Toilet pack, bike racks and Digital TV package. Car parking for your own vehicles is also included.
Gold Package
Our all-inclusive package saves you the most. Gold package is ideal for any drivers are under 26 or over 69, have endorsements or hold an overseas driving license. It includes any driver insurance surcharges (including EU Travel), unlimited mileage, gas bottle (for heating the water and powering the fridge) Toilet pack, bike racks and Digital TV package. Car parking for your own vehicle.
